My Name is Amy Lowery,
I am a mother of a 6 year old little boy and a 3 year old little girl. I know how important it is to have an emotionally regulated home to get the best out come for children. This also goes in hand with recieving the right emotional support at school. With all the exspectations of day to day life it can often get a little overwhelming, for adults and for children. However i believe with the right support and guidance this can change your outlook on life.

My Story

My passion has always been understanding people.

For nearly a decade, I have worked in Special Educational Needs education, supporting children with diverse learning, emotional and behavioural needs.
Throughout my career I have seen first-hand how understanding, patience and the right support can transform a child's confidence, wellbeing and future.

I am particularly interested in how the brain works, how experiences shape behaviour, and how children and adults can build resilience through compassionate support and meaningful connections.

Alongside my professional experience, I continue to develop my knowledge through further study in neurophysiology and personal development. And how negativity manifests on the brain causing on going health conditions.

I believe every individual deserves to feel understood, valued and supported.

At Mindful Advocate, my goal is to help families and educators develop practical strategies that promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and positive relationships.

I have:

9 years of SEN experience working directly with children.
Experience supporting and communicating with parents.
